DESCRIPTION: Gypsy Heart is the upcoming fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. It will be released on September 30, 2014 by Republic Records. It was produced by American record producer Babyface. It features songwriting collaborations with past co-writer, Jason Reeves, as well as new co-writers and producers Max Martin, Julian Bunetta, and Johan Carlsson. The album's lead single, "Try", was released as the iTunes Store single of the week of June 9 to the 16. The album's second single "Just Like That" was released to digital retailers on September 9.It was also confirmed by Republic Records as the second single of the album.

Sonically, the EP is a musical departure from Caillat's previous releases, with a more produced sound. She stated in an interview with Fuse TV that working with new producers helped her "get out of [her] comfort zone". All of the songs on Gypsy Heart (Side A) are more produced than her usual releases, except for "Try". She describes the EP as "a fun new way to put out music", and as a blend of pop, folk, and R&B music. Of her collaboration with Babyface, Caillat says that "he just knows how to make the sound so crisp, and real, and current."

Description:
"Shake It Off" is a song by American recording artist Taylor Swift for her upcoming fifth studio album, 1989. Written by Swift, Max Martin and Shellback, the single, a departure from her signature country pop musical style, is an uptempo pop track instrumented by saxophone. The song premiered during a Yahoo! live stream session on August 18, 2014; its music video was also released the same day. Several hours later, "Shake It Off" was made available for digital download as the lead single from 1989.

"Shake It Off" received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who praised its musical style. Meanwhile, the music video received mixed reception, and was additionally criticized for a scene which involved twerking. "Shake It Off" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week ending September 6, 2014, becoming Swift's second number one single in the United States and the 22nd song to debut at number one in the chart's history.

DESCRIPTION: 21 is the second studio album by English recording artist Adele. Released on 24 January 2011 in most of Europe, and on 22 February 2011 in North America, it was named after the age of the singer during its production. The album shares the folk and Motown soul influences of her 2008 debut album 19, but was further inspired by the American country and Southern blues music to which she had been exposed during her 2008–2009 North American tour An Evening with Adele. Praised by critics for its understated production, vintage authenticity, and Adele's vocal performance, 21 defied the modest commercial expectations of her indie record label XL Recordings and became a sleeper hit in 2011. The album topped the charts in more than 30 countries and appeared in the 2012 edition of the Guinness World Records. The United Kingdom's best-selling album of the 21st century, its 23-week tenure atop the UK Albums Chart is the longest by a female solo artist. In the United States, the album held the top position for 24 weeks, longer than any other album since 1985, and was certified Diamond.
